Empowering Malaysian SMEs for Global Growth: EasyStore and MATRADE Launch 3rd Malaysia Select Campaign in Taiwan

KUALA LUMPUR, October 27, 2023 — The third edition of Malaysia Select, a collaborative campaign between EasyStore and MATRADE, was officially launched on October 19, 2023, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre during the Selangor Smart City & Digital Economy Convention.

The launch ceremony featured key representatives including Mr. Alan Kok, CCO and Co-founder of EasyStore; Puan Asnor Vidya Nor Asmi, Director of Customised Programme and Digital Trade Section at MATRADE; Mr. James Chang, Director of the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Malaysia; and Mr. Gerald Leong, CMO of Lekor Bites.

Malaysia Select 2023: Strengthening Export Ambitions

The Malaysia Select campaign continues its mission to empower Malaysian SMEs in expanding their reach into the Taiwanese market, offering new export opportunities and strengthening bilateral economic ties.

Running from September 1 to October 31, 2023, this campaign is supported by key partners including MATRADE, MDEC, Taiwan’s Commerce Development Research Institute (CDRI), Meta, Razer Merchant Services, and EasyParcel.

Officiating the event was Ms. Melissa Poh, General Manager of EasyStore, who shared the company's commitment to supporting local businesses in going global.

He expressed optimism that this initiative will introduce more high-quality Malaysian products to Taiwanese consumers.
