Darasara officially launched in 2018, bringing its popular modest fashion pieces from Instagram to its own website for the first time.

During the pandemic, the brand experienced a significant surge in online transactions.

Darasara is known for its signature designs — dropped shoulder, nursing-friendly, loose-fitting dresses with a flattering belt that suits all body types.

As its online presence expanded, the brand realized its customers wanted an offline experience that matched the convenience of shopping online. 

To meet that demand, Darasara opened a retail store in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

However, growing across both online and offline channels required more than just physical expansion. The brand needed a unified system capable of managing traffic, inventory, and orders across all channels.

Over 90% of Darasara’s customers engaged with the brand on Instagram, mostly through mobile devices. But payment issues and a fragmented order system created friction in the shopping experience.
