Over the course of the year, the tour visited 7 key cities—Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, Kuching, Johor, Penang, Ipoh, and Terengganu—bringing together more than 500 retailers, business owners, and entrepreneurs.
Featuring insights from 9 commerce experts and support from long-time partners, the tour provided invaluable strategies to help local businesses grow through data-driven and customer-focused approaches.

About Commerce Tour 2023
An extension of EasyStore’s commitment to supporting SMEs, the Commerce Tour 2023 was built to ignite sustainable business growth through in-person seminars and discussions with seasoned industry experts.
Following the success of the 2022 tour—which reached over 300 SMEs on the West Coast—this year’s initiative expanded nationwide, impacting over 500 businesses from all corners of Malaysia.
The tour featured two key campaigns:
SheRunsBusiness (SRB): Aimed at empowering women in business by bringing together successful female entrepreneurs to share insights, strategies, and motivation.
Supercharge Your Year-End Sales (YES): Designed to help business owners optimize operations and maximize profits during the high-stakes year-end sales season.

24 May – Kuala Lumpur
Kickstarting the tour with the debut of #SheRunsBusiness, featuring content marketing expert Keret and EasyStore Star Merchant Saw & Sander, who inspired attendees with real-world success stories.
6 September – Malacca
In partnership with CIMB Bank through the CIMB MicroBiz Ready Program, EasyStore empowered local entrepreneurs to scale their businesses using unified commerce tools.
20 September – Kuala Lumpur
The second edition of #SheRunsBusiness spotlighted live marketing strategies with live commerce expert Nor Affira, helping businesses optimize content for real-time sales.
27 September – Kuala Lumpur
With Lazada Seller Ambassador Quan Ming and Hann Chuan from Dattel Asia, the YES campaign gave business owners customer-centric strategies to boost year-end performance.
9 October – Kuching
At the largest co-hosted tech event by WCIT and IDECS, EasyStore introduced unified commerce strategies to Sarawak-based SMEs, reinforcing digital growth in East Malaysia.
#SheRunsBusiness drew over 50 Perak entrepreneurs to PASAK, where experts like e-commerce educator Cikgu Anna Aziz and tutorial specialist Maddox Lim helped attendees kickstart their TikTok and Marketplace journeys.
22 November – Penang
In collaboration with Ninja Van, Stripe, and Digital Penang, EasyStore empowered northern region businesses with tools to digitalize and build deeper customer relationships with UCX.
6 December – Johor
Thanks to Iskandar Investment Berhad, EasyStore connected with Johor entrepreneurs ready to deliver superior customer experiences with EasyStore’s unified platform.
13 December – Terengganu
Closing the tour in the East Coast, EasyStore inspired local SMEs to level up their businesses with modern digital tools and UCX-driven strategies.
