8 July 2026 - EasyStore was proud to be part of the Women Mentoring Network Conference (WMNC) 2026 at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, hosted by ADLA Group Sdn Bhd.
Bringing together more than 200 women leaders, entrepreneurs and industry experts, the conference explored how technology, AI and community are shaping the next generation of leadership.

Datin Dr. Leez Hassan, CEO & Founder of ADLA Group during her welcome speech, reminded the audience that empowering women goes beyond technology. It is about building a supportive ecosystem. From women leaving corporate careers to pursue entrepreneurship, to those growing SMEs from the ground up, she emphasised that communities like the Women Mentoring Network create meaningful connections where women can learn from one another, support each other's journeys and rise together.
Representing EasyStore, Nadia Amir, Partnership & Community Manager, took the stage during Plenary Session 1: Connected & Unstoppable: How AI, Digital Tools & Community Are Reshaping Women's Leadership.

One of the biggest takeaways she shared from the discussion, was how technology has fundamentally changed who gets the opportunity to build a business. Starting a business once meant having significant capital, a physical storefront and specialised technical knowledge. Today, digital tools have lowered those barriers, allowing more women to turn their ideas into sustainable businesses.
As a unified commerce platform, EasyStore helps businesses manage their website, retail POS, marketplaces, social commerce, CRM and inventory from one system. By reducing time spent on manual operations, merchants can focus on growing their brand, understanding their customers and making more confident business decisions through real-time data and insights.
She also shared how EasyStore’s unified commerce solutions has helped women-founded businesses achieve scalability and retail growth expansions such as Claire Organics, whose brand started with a mother's search for natural eczema remedies, and The Pastels Shop, founded with the mission of creating high-quality and affordable skincare; both started from a woman’s vision into established retail brands. Most women-led businesses have proven that you don’t need to struggle to scale when you have the right digital foundation.

Chai Lee Fong, Founder of Famsy, one of the panelists also encouraged women leaders to embrace technology, sharing how Claude Co-work has helped her manage her operations both in business and personal. She urged entrepreneurs to stay open and encourage leaders to incorporate the use of AI in team workflows.
Liyana Azman from GX Bank and Anuradha from TechSetGo also shared valuable perspectives on how women can thrive in an increasingly digital world. Liyana urged corporate employees to not be afraid of new technology but instead enjoy learning innovative technology and to keep a positive mindset around the use of it. Meanwhile, Anuradha highlighted the importance of building digital confidence, encouraging women to embrace emerging technologies and continuously upskill so they can stay relevant and lead with confidence

Beyond the panel session, EasyStore's Merchant Success Advisors were on the ground throughout the conference, connecting with delegates and sharing practical strategies on scaling a business with unified commerce. From managing multiple sales channels to simplifying day-to-day operations, the team provided personalised consultations to help entrepreneurs identify opportunities for sustainable growth and looking to build stronger, future-ready businesses.
