Smarter Retail Features to Power Your Customer Experience
Welcome to our first product update of 2024! If you're new here—welcome to the EasyStore family.

EasyStore Jan 2024 Product Updates
[Customers] New Sign-Up Flow – Passwordless Login
Customers can now sign up or log in using only their phone number or email—no passwords or lengthy forms needed.
If the customer is already registered, they’ll be redirected to the login page.
If a phone number is entered and not linked to an account, the customer will go through OTP verification.
If an email address is entered and not linked to an account, they’ll be prompted to create an account by setting a name and password.
This update helps reduce friction at sign-up, encourages membership sign-ups, and improves data collection.
[Member App] New Interface
The Shopping App has a fresh new design! This updated interface brings a modern, user-friendly layout that enhances the customer experience.
[Member App] Live Chat Support
Customers can now message your store directly through the app. Activate this in the EasyStore admin panel:
Messages > Platform Settings > Add Platform > Live Chat
Once enabled, customers can open their Member App, tap the message icon, and start chatting. This makes real-time support quicker and more convenient.
[Customer] Product Search History
Customers can now view their 15 most recent searches under the search bar—shared between your online store and Shopping App (login required). They also have the option to clear their search history. This helps them easily revisit products they were interested in.
[Order] Fulfill Pick-Up Orders via mPOS
You can now fulfill pickup orders directly from mPOS. Here’s how:
Mark the order as Ready for Pickup
The customer receives a pickup notification
Once collected, mark the order as Picked Up
Note: This applies to pickup orders with a predefined location in your EasyStore settings.
[Order] Display Location Name in mPOS
For every order placed, you’ll now see the branch or store location directly in your mPOS view. This helps staff identify order origin and manage fulfillment more efficiently.
[Product] New Inventory Filter – "Quantity More Than"
Manage stock levels more strategically with a new inventory filter that shows items with stock quantities over a specified number. Use this to identify overstocked items for rebundling or promotions.
[Reports] Product Variant Performance
Gain deeper insight with reporting at the product variant level. Track:
Total units sold
Net sales
Cost
Average profit margin
Gross profit
This allows for better analysis and data-driven inventory decisions.
[Payment] Simple Pay for Macao
Now accept payments from customers in Macao using 聚易用 Simple Pay, a manual QR code payment option. To enable:
Register/login to Simple Pay
Generate a QR code
Add it in your EasyStore payment methods
At checkout, customers scan the QR code to pay, and you manually verify the transaction before fulfillment.
[Payment] UOB DuitNow QR for mPOS
Accept payments via UOB DuitNow QR through mPOS. Setup steps:
Register/login to UOB
Generate your DuitNow QR
Add it in EasyStore under payment methods
This manual QR method provides another convenient payment option at your physical store.
[App] Recently Viewed – New App!
Track your customers' product discovery journey with the Recently Viewed app. Key features:
Shows the last 100 products viewed within 30 days
Display up to 3 recently viewed items on the home page (from the past 24 hours)
Shared between online store and app (login required)
This improves product recall and encourages repeat purchases.
[App Enhancement] Product Star Rating
The Product Star Rating app now supports:
Total comment count
Breakdown of star ratings
Image uploads (up to 3 images per review)
Image Upload Rules:
Max file size: 5MB
Formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG
Customers must be logged in to submit reviews
The improved layout provides authenticity and trust for buyers, and it’s fully mobile-optimized.
[App Enhancement] Product Property – Now with Date & Time Options
The Product Property app now supports customer selection of date and timeslot before adding to cart—ideal for:
Appointment bookings (e.g., grooming, makeup)
Pre-launch product reservations
In-store pickups (e.g., cakes, fashion items)
[Apps Enhancement: EasyParcel MY] Live Fulfillment Status
Order statuses are now automatically synced in real-time from EasyParcel to EasyStore. This provides customers with immediate updates and helps reduce order inquiries.
