1. [POS]: Enhanced Order Name
We’ve introduced an important enhancement to the POS system to help businesses prepare for e-Invoice integration.
All POS orders, whether placed online or offline mode, will now use a "newly formatted order number".
The new structure ensures that each order is uniquely traceable and better suited for future invoice processing and system integration.
This format combines a transaction reference with a unique identifier: ABC123XYZ9Q.
The new format ensures that each POS order has a unique and consistent reference to support e-Invoicing.
This update allows the system to accurately generate a QR code on the customer’s receipt, making it easier to capture the necessary details for e-Invoice submissions.
2. [POS]: New Receipt Design
Unclear receipts can create confusion to customers. When prices, discounts, or product details aren’t easy to read, it can leave customers guessing their purchases in confusion.
That’s why we have introduce a series of enhancements on the POS receipt to ensure customers get the best shopping experience.
New Receipt Template
Customers now get a clearer, more confident view of their purchases during checkout.
With the new POS receipt template, it features a fresher and cleaner design that makes it easy for customers to see what they bought and any discounts applied.
Instead of a confusing mix of numbers, the new template presents a clear and simple summary.
There will also be new receipt templates to enhance clarity and customer experience.
New receipt templates include:
- Return receipt
- Exchange receipt
- Refund receipt
Whenever a customer completes one of these actions, they will receive a clear and dedicated receipt showing just that specific transaction.
New QR Code and Barcode Features
We’ve also upgraded our receipts with the new QR codes and order barcodes to make post-purchase processes smoother.
- Shopping App QR Code:
Shopping apps can now reach wider audiences as customers just need to scan the QR code on their receipt to instantly access shopping app belongs to their favourite brand.
- Order Barcode:
Customers no longer need to spend extra time on returns and exchanges. Each receipt now includes a unique barcode representing the order, enabling staff to quickly retrieve order details.
Businesses now able to customise both QR code and order barcode's text.
3. [Report]: Clearer Reporting Enhancement
We have made several enhancement in reporting for businesses to give businesses a clearer insight and more intuitive way to track performance. Here's what we have enhanced:
Tuned and Repositioned Report Name
We know how important it is for business owners to get a clear and accurate picture of business performance, especially when its reviewing monthly reports.
That’s why we have made a few updates to the “Admin Report” section to help businesses better understand the sales data at a glance.
Renamed
- Total Gross Sales → Gross Sales
- Total Net Sales → Net Sales
Repositioning of orders flow: Gross Sales → Net Sales → Total Sales, to better reflect the natural flow of sales calculation and improve report readability.
Export Order Format Enhancement
Ever felt like focusing on one thing in your order list but end up staring at the entire spreadsheet with all the details?
With the latest update, businesses can now export exactly what they need and skip the rest:
- Full order details
- Item details only
- Transaction details only
Whether it’s handling reports, reviewing sales, or just trying to stay organised, this update saves time and gives with a cleaner and more focused data.
New e-Invoice Column During Export
The order export file now includes a new “E-invoice Number” column, Whenever businesses download the export file (CSV/Excel), the E-invoice numbers will be located right after the “Fulfillment Status” column.
This enhancement helps bring order and e-Invoice details requested by customers together in the same file, making it easier to stay organised and reduce manual work.
Note: Currently only showing latest record of e-Invoice issued, and those e-Invoice cancelled earlier won't be shown.
4. [Admin]: Smarter Way of Importing
Importing data is an essential for businesses but it shouldn't feel like a guessing game. Whether it's bringing in a customer list or updating inventory, every detail counts. Here’s how we have made the process clearer intuitive for your team:
Customer List Import Enhancement
Customers’ needs just got easier to remember. As EasyStore now supports “Note” column in spreadsheets or CSV files, businesses can import their customer list along with special requests or notes from recent events.
Inventory Import List Enhancement
Say goodbye to the headaches of inventory imports and fix errors on the spot with ease!
With our latest upgrade, businesses can now view a detailed import summary that clearly shows which stock items were successfully added and which weren’t, along with the exact reasons why.
5. [Admin]: Smarter Listing Table
Managing over hundreds of products and orders daily shouldn’t slow you down.EasyStore has introduced the latest enhancements to the listing tables across the product, order, and report pages including "Sales Performance" and "Product Performance" reports designed to give businesses better control and clarity.
With the upgraded interface, businesses can now:
- Easier Manage Filter Tags - Show or hide filter tags, add new filters with just a click, and clear them instantly.
- New Saved Search Tab - Easier way to “rename” or “remove” filters right from a dropdown.
- Smarter Tab Navigation - Page display now automatically goes back to the “All” tab when filters are cleared, or jumps to the “saved filter” so businesses can stay on track.
6. [App]: Improved e-Invoice
E-Invoicing has become a mandatory requirement for businesses in Malaysia, and EasyStore is committed to making sure all businesses are fully prepared for this change.
With our latest updates, the entire e-Invoicing process is now safer and faster.
Stronger Security for e-Invoice Process
We’ve introduced stronger security measures to ensure that all information shared during the e-invoice process is safely protected.
This means businesses and customers can have greater confidence that their data stays safe throughout every step.
Pre-Filled Personal Details for e-Invoice
To make checkout faster and more accurate, returning customers will now find their personal details automatically pre-filled during purchases.
This not only speeds up the process but also helps reduce the chance of making mistake from manual input.
Tax filing information can also be conveniently pre-filled in both the Storefront and POS, helping customers and businesses stay accurate and compliant.
Submit e-Invoice Without Disruption
We have enhanced the system to ensure businesses can now continue submitting e-Invoices without any interruptions, even if the online store channel is temporarily disabled.
This improvement helps keep operations smooth and compliant that ensures everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.
Offline POS Receipt with e-Invoice QR Code
Customers can now receive receipts with e-Invoice QR codes printed on them even when the POS system is temporarily offline.
This ensures customers always get a complete and compliant e-Invoice for every purchase, making it easier to track and manage their e-Invoices.
7. [App]: IOI City Mall Integration
We have introduced a seamless retail management solution for businesses operating in IOI City Mall through EasyStore’s latest integration.
This new feature ensures that retail transactions are automatically synchronised with the mall’s system, streamlining operations, reducing manual work, and ensuring greater accuracy in reporting.
What you will benefit from:
- Automatic Sales Synchronisation: Retail store transactions will now sync effortlessly with the IOI City Mall system, eliminating the need for manual input and ensuring data accuracy across platforms.
- Daily Sales Data Upload: Sales data is automatically uploaded to the mall system every day at 11:40 PM, keeping your records accurate, consistent, and up to date.
- Automated Transaction Reports: Daily transaction reports are seamlessly synchronized, providing businesses with accurate, real-time insights for better decision-making and operational efficiency.
8. [Order]: New "Invoice Status" Filter Option
To make order and invoice management more seamless, we’ve added a “Invoice Status” into EasyStore’s order page filter as a new section.
With this update, businesses can now easily view and manage orders by:
- Not Issued — Orders without an invoice yet.
- Issued — Orders with an invoice already generated.
- Cancelled — Orders with invoices that have been voided.
This ensures customers receive their invoices on time, while businesses stay organised and avoid missing any steps.
A smoother invoice process means a better, more transparent experience for your customers.
