This strategic partnership was a highlight of the DEX Connex Gateway to ASEAN: Thailand - Malaysia Business Matching event hosted by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) on August 6, 2024, at True Digital Park West in Bangkok.

The MOU signing took place during the DEX Connex Gateway to ASEAN: Thailand - Malaysia Business Matching event, a transformative platform was designed to foster trade and investment between Malaysian and Thai businesses, offering exceptional opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange, and business development.
Building on the success of previous years, this year’s event featured 54 Malaysian startups, 50 Thai partners, and over 120 business matching sessions. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with leading companies, investors, and startups from both countries.
These partnerships have generated over RM200 million in engagements, highlighting the program's significance in promoting Malaysian technology and innovation globally.
Reflecting on past successes, DEX Connex events in Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia have seen participation from over 100 companies, creating more than RM400 million in potential opportunities for Malaysian tech firms in these regions.
The event was supported by key partners, including the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) Thailand, the Embassy of Malaysia in Thailand, DEPA Thailand, True Digital Park, Diplomatic Council, Malaysia-Thai Chamber of Commerce (MTCC), GEN Thailand, and Techsauce.
