EasyStore Product Updates: November 2018 Highlights

In this quarter, we focused on improving business operations for our merchants — and we’ve rolled out some great new features and enhancements! Here’s a quick look at what’s new:

1. Storefront LINE Login

We’ve integrated LINE login to give your customers more ways to access their accounts on your eCommerce website. 

This reduces cart abandonment, especially for stores that require customers to log in before placing orders. 

No need to remember emails and passwords — customers can now log in via their LINE account.

2. Lazada SDK/API Update

Following changes to the Lazada SDK/API, we’ve updated the Lazada marketplace plugin in EasyStore to ensure all merchants are using the latest version for seamless synchronization.

3. Categorized Payment Options

Previously, payment methods from the same gateway were shown as a single option (e.g. credit/debit card via PayPal). 

Now, you can separately display and categorize payment methods on your checkout page, giving customers more clarity and choice.

4. Facebook Messenger Integration

We’ve added Facebook Messenger to our Customer Service app collection. 

Now, you can easily enable a Facebook Messenger chat pop-up on your eCommerce site, allowing customers to contact you instantly.

5. Mobile Facebook Shop

Good news — the Facebook Store “Shop” tab is now available on mobile devices

Your customers can browse products by collection on your Facebook page and proceed to checkout on your website directly from their phones.

6. Payment Settings Notifications

To help business owners stay informed, EasyStore will now notify you of any changes made to your payment settings — such as if a payment method is removed — ensuring you’re always in the loop.

7. Google & Facebook Admin Panel Login

Forgot your password? No problem. 

You can now log into your EasyStore admin panel via Google or Facebook, minimizing password resets and making it faster to manage your store.
