EasyStore a Part of Developing Digital Know-How Among Aspiring Entrepreneurs | EasyStore

Intellect Academy Malaysia, a HRD Corp certified training provider, organized a 5-day digital skilling program called “I Am Digital Ready”, with the support from Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and Persatuan Pengilang & Industri Perkhimatan Bumiputra Malaysia (PPIBM).

This program is a part of MDEC’s Digital-Up initiative to provide opportunities for Malaysians to develop digital technology related skills such as digital marketing and ecommerce.

The 5-day training kicked off with a launch ceremony at Hotel Olympic, Kuala Lumpur. The ceremony was inaugurated by Mr Gopi Ganesalingam, Senior Vice President at MDEC, and Datuk Azman Yusoff, President of PPIBM.

In the opening speech, Mr Gopi addressed how crucial it is to continue upskilling and reskilling to keep up with the fast paced changes in this modern consumer world.

Ecommerce plays an important role in economic growth

One of the training in this program focuses on ecommerce and EasyStore was selected as the ecommerce partner to provide training and ecommerce solution to the participants.

At the end of the training, the participants were equipped with the skills to set up and design an ecommerce website with EasyStore. With the guidance of EasyStore trainer, all 22 participants were able to complete their own professional ecommerce website in less than 48 hours.

Aside from ecommerce training, the participants were also introduced to digital marketing strategies such as using TikTok to drive traffic to their ecommerce website.

The 5-day digital training program ended with a closing ceremony at PPIBM’s office where the participants presented their business plan using what they learned during training.

Best digital marketing strategy and ecommerce website were also awarded with a prize.

All and all the program was a success and received great feedbacks from the participants.
