What's New in Your EasyStore Customer Management Tab

This quarter, alongside enhancing the Lazada Malaysia app, we’ve made several valuable upgrades to the Customer Management tab in your admin panel. 

Let’s take a look at what’s new.

1. Auto-Calculate Next Birthday & Zodiac

The more you know about your customers, the better you can personalize your marketing. Now, when you collect a customer’s birthday, the system will automatically calculate their next birthday and zodiac sign. This gives you fresh opportunities for personalized campaigns and promotions.

2. Customer Profile Photos Managed by Customers Only

In this update, merchants can no longer change customers’ profile photos from the admin panel. Customers will now have full control to update their own profile pictures within their accounts — ensuring greater privacy and user control.

3. Next Birthday and Gender Visibility

You’ll now see the next birthday and gender information listed for each customer in your admin panel. These insights make it easier to plan targeted campaigns based on customer demographics and special occasions.

4. Phone Numbers in International Format

No matter where your customers are from, their phone numbers will now be automatically formatted in international format. This makes it easier for you to track, manage, and use contact details across global campaigns.

5. View Customer Addresses in Google Maps

Another handy addition — you can now view your customers’ addresses directly in Google Maps from their profile details. This helps with delivery checks, area targeting, and understanding your customer distribution.

6. Improved Address Line Formatting

We’ve enhanced the address line formatting by separating them into Address Line 1 and Address Line 2, providing a cleaner, clearer view of customer addresses for better reference.

7. View Purchased Items by Customer

To help you better understand buying behavior, there’s now a section displaying the previously purchased items by each customer. Use this insight to plan retargeting efforts and recommend products based on their purchase history.

8. Rearranged Chinese Name Sequence

For customers with Chinese names, the sequence has been updated to display the first name at the front and last name at the back for consistency and clarity.
