MALACCA, 6 September 2023 – Leading commerce platform EasyStore is proud to announce the continuation of its strategic collaboration with CIMB, a prominent ASEAN universal banking group, as part of the CIMB MicroBiz Ready Program.
This ongoing partnership aims to equip Malaysian small businesses with unified commerce tools and resources, strengthening their ability to grow and compete in today’s evolving retail landscape.
About the CIMB MicroBiz Ready Program
Launched in 2020, the CIMB MicroBiz Ready Program has played a key role in empowering SMEs by offering training and mentorship across areas such as digitalization, business strategy, and financial literacy.
The program especially supports entrepreneurs from the B40 community, helping them navigate today’s dynamic business challenges.
For the third consecutive year, EasyStore remains a dedicated partner in the initiative, reinforcing its commitment to SME empowerment.
Over the past three years, the collaboration has positively impacted over 210 participants—including women entrepreneurs, Asnaf community members, and differently-abled business owners within the Klang Valley.

Unified Commerce Workshop
As part of the program, EasyStore hosted a hands-on workshop during the second boot camp held at Kolej Yayasan Melaka. The session introduced participants to unified commerce strategies and practical tools to help them manage both online and offline sales channels effectively.
The workshop emphasized the growing importance of ecommerce tools, as well as EasyStore’s newly launched cloud-based POS system, which enables business owners to sell seamlessly at physical events such as kiosks, stalls, and bazaars.
Additionally, participants were encouraged to prepare for the upcoming Year-End Sales (YES) season—a crucial window to expand their reach and drive significant sales growth.
EasyStore’s Commerce Tour 2023
Building on the success of 2022, when EasyStore guided over 300 SMEs along Malaysia’s West Coast, the Commerce Tour 2023 aims to reach 500 SMEs nationwide.
This tour acts as a growth accelerator for local entrepreneurs, offering actionable insights and support during the most crucial retail periods of the year.
The tour features two flagship campaigns:
SheRunsBusiness (SRB) – Aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs through inspiring sessions led by successful businesswomen.
Supercharge Your Year-End Sales (YES) – Tailored for all SMEs looking to optimize sales during the year-end mega sale season.
These initiatives feature expert-led seminars, real-world case studies, and strategic guidance from industry veterans and commerce partners.
