Giant Leaps to Elevate Your Customer's Shopping Experience

1. [Customers]: New Sign Up Flow - Passwordless Login 

Customers can now log in or create an account using just phone number or email address, eliminating the hassle to complete lengthy forms, overcoming barriers to join your membership and enjoying exciting perks.

The best part is that our system will automatically detects whether the customer is an existing member, 

  • If the customer already has an account, they will be directed to the login page. 

  • If the customer doesn't have an account but provides a phone number, they will be seamlessly directed to OTP verification, securing their account and allowing you to gather additional details later. 

  • If the customer doesn't have an account but provides an email address, they will be directed to the account setup page to provide their name and password, and they can easily create their account.

This approach helps capture customer information and minimizes the inconvenience for customers to create an account, reducing friction and allowing them to proceed without needing to remember or reset their passwords.

2. [Member App]: Brand New Interface 

We're excited to introduce a significant update to Shopping App! This version brings a refreshed look and enhanced features to elevate your shopping experience.

3. [Member App]: Live Chat Now Available

Live chat is now accessible on the Member App, enabling you to respond to queries promptly. 

  • To activate, in EasyStore admin panel, go to "Messages" > "Platform Settings" > "Add Platform" > "Live Chat".

  • For your customers, all they need to do is open their "Member App", tap the "Message" icon and click "Chat".

Customers can message you directly using this feature, allowing you to resolve queries more efficiently. 

4. [Customer]: Product Search History 

Did you know that human short-term memory can only hold 5-9 pieces of information? Customers can probably only remember up to 9 products they were interested to purchase, but with this new enhancement, we expand that to 15.

Customers can check latest 15 search histories under the search bar, and they have the option to clear their search histories. The records will be shared between the online store and the Shopping App, but do take note that customers are required to log in.

5. [Order]: Fulfil Pick-up Orders with mPOS

You can now fulfill pick up orders on mPOS with this new pickup flow - but it must be a pickup order with location set in EasyStore Location setting.

How it works?

  • Once you receive an order, you can mark order as 'Ready for Pickup'.
  • An email notification will be sent to customer. 
  • Once customer picked up the order, you can mark the order as 'Picked up'.

6. [Order]: Display Location Name for mPOS Order

You can now easily identify the branch where the order is placed, offering a clearer and more effective way to recognise and track sales.

7. [Product]: New Inventory Filter Criteria 

Introducing a new inventory filter criteria –  "Quantity More Than". This new filter empowers you to efficiently manage your stock by checking quantities above a certain number. For instance, use this filter to identify excessive stock for potential rebundling or targeted selling strategies.

8. [Reports]: Product Variant Performance

Check the performance of products at the variant level for more specific product performance analysis. Review metrics such as total units sold, total net sales, total cost, average profit margin, and total gross profit.

9. [Payment]: Sell To Macao with Simple Pay

Ready to sell to Macao or receive Macanese Pataca? Utilize 聚易用 Simple Pay!

This is a manual QR payment method, and setting it up is straightforward:

  • Register / login to Simple Pay.
  • Obtain your QR code.
  • Add it to your payment methods in EasyStore backend.

When customers choose this payment method at checkout, they will need to scan the QR code to make a manual payment. Merchants will need to check and verify this transaction before manually mark the order as paid and proceed to fulfill it.

10. [Payment]: UOB DuitNow QR

Great news! You can now accept UOB DuitNow QR, applicable only on mPOS! 

This is a manual QR payment method, and setting it up is straightforward:

  • Register / login to UOB Bank.
  • Obtain your QR code.
  • Add it to your payment methods in EasyStore backend.

11. [App]: Recently View (New!) 

Enhance your customers' personal shopping experience by integrating our new app— Recently View. This functionality helps them keep track of preferred items and has the potential to drive more purchases.

This app empowers customers to effortlessly review their latest 100 viewed products within the last 30 days.  Once activated, a new section will appear under the customer account, providing customers with easy access. 

Additionally, you have the option to showcase this on their home page, which will be automatically located at the bottom of home page, highlighting the latest 3 viewed products within the last 24 hours.

Once again, the records will be shared between the online store and the Shopping App, with customers required to log in for access.

12. [App Enhancement]: Product Star Rating

We are excited to introduce an enhanced layout for "Product Star Rating" App. Customers can easily access comprehensive information, including the total number of comments, the breakdown of Each Star Rating, and the ability to upload up to 3 image files.

This empowers customers to receive authentic feedback and testimonials, looking at visual elements that add an extra layer of assurance and trust for potential buyers.

Image Upload Requirements:

  • File size must not exceed 5 MB.
  • Valid file formats include JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG.
  • Limit of 3 images per review.
  • Users must be logged in to upload images.

This enhancement also supports mobile view for a streamlined experience. 

13. [App Enhancement]: Product Property

"Product Property" app now offers enhanced flexibility for customers with the addition of a date and timeslot option. You can now configure specific times and dates available for customers to choose their preferred slot before adding the product to their cart.

Leverage this feature for: 

  • Scheduling Appointments: Perfect for services like pet grooming, makeup appointments, and more.
  • Event Launches (Prebook): Ideal for pre-booking products before an event launch.
  • Pick Up In-Store: Streamline the process for businesses like cake stores and fashion stores.

14. [Apps Enhancement: EasyParcel MY]: Live Update On Fulfilment Status 

The fulfillment status in EasyStore will now be updated automatically with real-time updates from EasyParcel. Experience live updates, allowing customers to check the status of their orders seamlessly.
