Each month, we introduce feature enhancements and new tools to help you succeed. This month, we’re focusing on enhancing our app to provide a more seamless and user-friendly experience.

1. [POS]: Scan Vouchers with Universal Scan

The POS Universal Scan feature, which previously allowed scanning of product and membership barcodes, now supports voucher barcode scanning as well. Customers can simply show their vouchers from the shopping app, and staff can instantly scan them for redemption, eliminating the need for manual code entry.

With this enhancement, it speeds up transactions, reduces wait times, and provides customers with a seamless shopping and loyalty experience, encouraging satisfaction and repeat visits.

Businesses can also review past transactions to see what voucher customers used during their purchase. 

2. [POS]: Inventory Count

The Inventory Count is a powerful tool that ensures your customers always get the products they want. It helps by checking and recording your actual stock, ensuring that the numbers in your system match the real count. This makes it easy to spot and fix any discrepancies.

Customers can now enjoy a smoother purchasing experience, as staff can quickly identify discrepancies between physical stock and system records. This ensures accurate stock levels and helps prevent potential errors during the checkout process.

3. [Voucher]: Fresh New Look for Discounts and Vouchers

We’ve made exciting updates to enhance the look and functionality of vouchers across the Online Store and Shopping App. 

These improvements are designed to streamline the experience for both businesses and customers, making voucher use more efficient and visually appealing. 

Customer's "My Voucher Page" On Online Store 

Customers can now access a dedicated my voucher's page indicating the types of vouchers that are active, available to claim and used. We've also upgraded the voucher design bringing a refreshed look for a cleaner and more user-friendly experience. 

Customer can easily search for available store vouchers through the "My Voucher" page when making a purchase. This could increase a higher chance of customer purchasing their product from businesses with their voucher.

More Voucher Details 

When customers wish to learn more about specific vouchers, they can now easily access clear information about their vouchers, including applicable products, terms and conditions, and barcode details, with just a click. This feature ensures a quicker and more accurate application of their vouchers during checkout.

Customizable Voucher Theme for Online Store 

Businesses can now personalize custom colors for their voucher displays across different pages, available exclusively for Online Store.

To customize the appearance of your vouchers, tab on "Promotions", go to "Voucher/Discount", then click on 'Secondary actions", and select "Display setting". This allows you to easily customize how your vouchers are presented to match your store's branding.

 

Expanded Barcodes for Easier Scanning for Shopping App

With the latest enhancement to the shopping app's voucher barcode feature, customers can now expand the voucher display at the counter, providing a clearer barcode for faster and more efficient scanning during checkout.

Customers will need to click on the "Voucher page" in the shopping app, then tap the voucher again to expand and view the barcode for use.  

4. [Customer]: Display Available Voucher of Customer

This feature provides detailed insights into each customer’s available vouchers during a purchase. The update showcases all vouchers in the customer’s account, allowing retail staff to remind customers of available vouchers when making a purchase at the counter.

 

With this feature, businesses can easily view and manage the vouchers that customer have through the "Customer" section

5. [SMS Notification]: Removal of Links from SMS Notifications for Malaysian Numbers

Starting now, SMS messages that are sent to Malaysian numbers will no longer include links

This update affects the following SMS notifications:

  • Order Placed SMS
  • Sign-Up Voucher SMS
  • Voucher SMS
  • Birthday Voucher SMS

Additionally, we have also deactivated the Point Redemption Voucher SMS for all regions to avoid immediate redirect to "Active Voucher" Once redeemed by user.

6. [App]: Gurney Plaza Shopping Mall Integration

We’ve introduced a seamless retail management solution for retail management through EasyStore’s integration with Gurney Plaza Shopping Mall. 

This new feature ensures that retail transactions are automatically synchronized with the mall’s system, making operations more efficient than ever.  

What Will You be Benefit From: 

  • Automatic Sales Synchronization: Businesses no longer need to input transactions manually, as retail store transactions will now sync seamlessly with the Gurney Plaza system in real time.  
  • Daily Transaction Reports: Daily sales reports are automatically synchronized, providing up-to-date and accurate insights. 

7. [App]: KL East Mall Integration

We’ve also come up with a seamless solution through EasyStore’s integration with KL East Mall, designed to enhance your operational efficiency.  

Take advantage of these features with this integration:

  • Real-Time Sales Integration: Effortlessly connect your retail store transactions to the KL East Mall's system, ensuring immediate retail store transactions updates with least errors.
  • Automated Reporting: Enjoy the convenience of daily sales reports that are automatically generated and synchronized, giving you instant access to your business performance.

8. [App]: E-Invoice Malaysia Enhancement

We’ve added a new feature to the E-Invoice Malaysia app!

 Businesses can now choose to automatically submit individual or consolidated invoices separately, offering greater flexibility and control over your invoicing process.
