EasyStore Product Updates: Key Features and Integrations from Q2 2020

Since the start of the Movement Control Order (MCO), our lifestyles have changed dramatically. 

COVID-19 impacted all levels of society, but it hasn’t stopped us from continuing to improve EasyStore’s features and expand our integrations.

Here’s a full recap of the updates from April to June 2020, designed to help you grow your business online:

1. [Mobile App] Sell Anywhere with the EasyStore Mobile App

The EasyStore mobile app is now free to download from both the Play Store and App Store. Use it to:

  • Create custom products on-the-go for pop-up stores or bazaars.

  • Place orders directly through your phone.

  • Contact our support team via Settings > Support.

  • Scan product barcodes right from your phone.

  • Print receipts using Star Micronics models: TSP100W / TSP100LAN / TSP100BI.

2. [Storefront] Prevent Spam with Google Captcha

We’ve added Google Captcha to the signup process to help protect your site from fake accounts and abusive traffic.

 

3. [Store Locator] Add Your Business Hours

You can now display business hours in the Store Locator to help customers visit your physical store at the right time.

 

4. [New Feature] Receive Orders via WhatsApp and LINE Order Form

Still, manually recording your orders from WhatsApp and LINE? To make selling even simpler, you can now receive orders in the conversation -- allowing customers to place their orders with a link.

5. [New Feature] Referral Marketing Program

Encourage word-of-mouth marketing with referral codes. Track performance directly in your admin panel.

 

6. [Analytics] Filter by Date for Better Sales Insights

Our new analytics tools let you:

  • Review total and cumulative sales/orders.

  • Monitor average order value.

  • Filter and view specific time periods.

 

7. [Admin Panel] Update User Profiles Anytime

You can now edit your profile info—name, phone number, country—freely after the 14-day trial.

8. [Admin Panel] New Login Interface

Faster login with new options to sign in using Google, Facebook, or LINE.

9. [Order Management] Efficiency Improvements

10. [Payments] New Gateway Integrations

We’ve added or updated payment gateways to include:

  • Stripe: Now supports 3D Secure Authentication.

  • Maybank2u Pay: Added for Malaysian shoppers.

  • Fiuu (previously known as Razer Merchant Services): Includes e-wallet & installment options (Direct banking removed).
  • iPay88: E-wallets now supported.

  • PayHalal: MYR-supported gateway for Malaysian users.

 

11. [Checkout] Sanctioned Countries Removed

To comply with global trade restrictions, we’ve removed certain countries from the checkout process to avoid delivery issues.

15. [Admin Panel] Streamlined Facebook Marketing

All Facebook tools (Shop, Messenger, Comments, Promoter) are now grouped under one section in the admin panel.

Connect or disconnect your Google, Facebook, or LINE account from EasyStore anytime under Settings > Profile > Account Credentials.

Enable order notifications for multiple staff emails under the recipients section.
