1. [mPOS]: New POS Facelift is now live! 

Experience the future of in-store transactions with our brand new mobile Point-of-Sale (mPOS). The beta version is now live, promising a faster checkout experience, shortened order journeys, and simplified customer interactions.

The facelift has been meticulously crafted with you and your team in mind, ensuring an elevated checkout experience for your customers, especially during the hustle and bustle of peak operations.

With easy access to data insights, handy shortcuts, and seamless automation, it is now easier to deliver a Unified Customer Experience that customers love!

2. [Marketplace - Lazada]: New Authorisation Flow

This update is crucial for merchants looking to expand into Lazada or for existing merchants whose Lazada access token has become invalid.

To authorise your Lazada account on EasyStore:

  1. Login to EasyStore > Channels > Lazada >  Enable > Click Install.

  2. Login to Lazada Open Platform 

  3. Purchase an EasyStore Plan on the Lazada Service Marketplace: 2 SKUs are available, with one being free (valid for 6 months; reauthorization is required afterward). The other SKU is chargeable but has a longer validity period.

  4. Place order > click on "Authorize Use of Service," complete the authorization flow, and you'll be redirected back to EasyStore.

  5. Configure your Lazada x EasyStore integration settings from there.

3. [Tax]: Settings Refined

In light of the recent SST changes outlined in the Malaysia Budget 2024, we recognize that adjustments to tax settings are crucial for your business. 

Previously, the option 'Include tax in product price' has been refined to 'Include tax in product price & shipping fee' to ensure more accurate tax charges. With this option selected, tax will be applied to both the product and shipping charges.

4. [Orders - Pick Up]: Receiver Information Included

To enhance clarity for pick-up orders, customers can now review the receiver details they've added for pick up order. This feature proves helpful in scenarios where:

  • A customer makes a purchase and designates another person to pick up the order.
  • A customer initiates a pick-up order but wishes to verify or update the receiver details.
  • A customer wants to double confirm the receiver information. 

This added functionality ensures a smoother and more flexible pick-up process, accommodating various scenarios and preferences.

5. [Admin - Inventory]: More Filtering Options

With these new inventory management filters for Visibility, Brands, Vendors and Tags, gain enhanced control and efficiency in managing your inventory, allowing for more streamlined and organized processes.

Buy In Store, Ship To Customers

Customers may have visited your physical store, but perhaps you didn't have the stock, or your products require pre-booking. For significant products that need delivery arrangements, you can now create shipping orders directly on the Point of Sale (POS) system, eliminating the need to go into the back office. Multichannel Notification

Previously, notifications could only be sent via email. However, we understand that customers might not check their email all the time, and you want the flexibility to set how notifications are sent. Fret not, as we are introducing a new feature to provide multiple options for reaching out to customers.
